West Kordofan Education Announces the Start of Primary Certificate Exams in the State

The Secretary-General of the Government of West Kordofan State, Mr. Sabri Youssef Jabara Jaber, recently confirmed that the state is actively working to fulfill the directives of Governor Dr. Issam Al-Din Haroun, aimed at addressing challenges surrounding the primary certificate exams currently being conducted across localities. He highlighted that the state government, in close coordination with the federal finance department, has made notable progress to ensure that teachers receive their financial entitlements, underscoring the state’s commitment to supporting the education sector.
This announcement came as he rang the bell at Al-Khansa Primary School in the locality of Al-Nahud, marking the start of primary certificate exams in the state, with the presence of the state's and local security committees and several educational leaders.
The acting Director-General of the Ministry of Education and Guidance, Mr. Ahmed Rahmatullah Al-Imam, expressed his gratitude for the official and popular efforts made to continue the academic year despite the security challenges in the country. He noted that the exams are being held naturally and safely due to the efforts of the state governor and the local security committee, and he wished all students across the state success.

Additionally, Mr. Mousa Ali Ibrahim, Executive Director of Al-Nahud locality and Chairman of the local security committee commended Governor Dr. Issam Al-Din Haroun and other state officials for their continuous support of education. He also acknowledged the contributions of the Education Support Committee and other benefactors, both local and international. Mr. Ibrahim assured parents that the security committee has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure that exams continue securely across all examination centers in the locality.
The Deputy Chairman of the Education Support Committee in Al-Nahud locality, Dr. Fadallah Jabara, affirmed that the committee will continue to support education in all localities of the state, leading up to the middle school certificate exams that are currently being arranged to take place after the primary certificate exams. Additionally, he pledged support for the postponed Sudanese national exams for the year (2023), which are scheduled for December 28.
