{BRAZZAVILLE}

Sudan’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Gibril Ibrahim, has taken part in the (15th) Constituency Meeting held in the Congolese capital, Brazzaville, on the sidelines of the (2026) African Development Bank (AfDB) Group Annual Meetings. Sudan’s participation aims to table critical agendas regarding developmental financing and post-war reconstruction, while exploring mechanisms to streamline member states' access to the financial resources required for vital infrastructure projects.

During the session, the Minister underscored the pressing need to drive economic reforms and secure fair representation for the constituency’s nations within the bank's governing structures. He further reaffirmed Sudan’s commitment to forging robust partnerships capable of anchoring economic stability and fostering sustainable development both at home and across the African continent
