Venezuela Condemns "Janjaweed Militia" Massacres in Al-Jazirah

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has announced its categorical condemnation and rejection of the brutal campaigns conducted by the Janjaweed militia against villages and cities in the eastern regions of Al-Jazirah and Al-Butana in the Republic of Sudan.
Venezuela urgently calls on the international community to denounce these actions and to take decisive steps to hold accountable those responsible for these crimes against humanity, including their leaders and sponsors.

The following is the statement:
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the brutal campaigns carried out by the Janjaweed militia against villages and cities in the eastern regions of Al-Jazirah and Al-Butana in the Republic of Sudan.
Venezuela urgently calls on the international community to strongly condemn these actions and take the necessary measures to hold the perpetrators of these crimes against humanity, as well as their leaders and sponsors, accountable. The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its steadfast friendship and solidarity with the government and people of Sudan. Within the framework of international law and Bolivarian diplomacy for peace, Venezuela opposes any action that undermines security and stability in the region."
