Through a Visit to Military Areas, Interior Minister and Governor of Khartoum Review Developments in the Battlefield

The Interior Minister, retired Police General Bashir Sairin, and the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, visited the Kadro Military Area along with their accompanying delegation. They were welcomed by Major General Al-Numan Ali, Commander of the Kadro Military Area, the Commander of the Hatab Area, and the Commander of the Armored Corps.


The Interior Minister stated that the purpose of the visit was to celebrate the major victories achieved by the armed forces and other regular forces. He emphasized that the police, through all its divisions, have been supporting the Battle of Dignity, standing on the front lines. He pledged that the police would remain committed until every part of Sudan is free from rebellion.


Major General Al-Numan praised the Sudanese police and all regular forces for working together in the Battle of Dignity and for the continuous success they have achieved.


In addition, the Interior Minister and the Governor of Khartoum, along with their delegation, visited the headquarters of Khartoum State Police. They received a briefing from Major General Amir Abdel-Moneim, Director of Khartoum State Police, on the current security situation and the efforts undertaken by police units to uphold the authority of the state and maintain security across the state. They discussed plans to enhance security in liberated areas and to expand the rehabilitation and maintenance of police stations so they can resume their duties in Karari, Omdurman, and Bahri.

The minister assured that all necessary support would be provided to enhance the security and stability of citizens, and confirmed that essential supplies would arrive in the coming days.


The visit concluded with a stop at the Wadi Sidna Military Area. The delegation, which included Major General Amir Abdel-Moneim, Director of Khartoum State Police, Major General Al-Hassan Ali Mohamed Saleh, Director of Khartoum State Security, and other police leaders, was welcomed by Major General Ibrahim Al-Jali, Commander of Wadi Sidna Military Area. He briefed the minister on the area's situation and the significant progress made in operations.


The minister commended the leadership of the Wadi Sidna Military Area and the armed forces for their victories and the expansion of secure zones. He reiterated the police's commitment to standing alongside the armed forces in defending the country’s dignity and honoring the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded. He affirmed their determination to rid Sudan of the stain of rebellion.
