During a joint meeting with the Khartoum State Government and the Security Coordination Committee, the minister affirmed the Ministry's support for enhancing coordination and cooperation among the security agencies. He expressed readiness to support the security plan for Khartoum State, combat crime and negative phenomena, and achieve police presence in liberated areas. He noted that community policing will play a crucial role in involving citizens in securing neighborhoods and pledged to support it as a foundation for Khartoum’s security plan.

Regarding the presence of foreigners, the minister clarified that international laws govern the status of refugees. However, he asserted that any foreigner participating in militia groups would lose their refugee status and would be dealt with according to the law to preserve the nation's sovereignty.

The Governor of Khartoum stated that thanks to recent victories, there has been an expansion of safe areas in Omdurman and Bahri. Local authorities in Bahri have begun to resume their activities, with food and health caravans sent out, health centers opened, and police stations operational. The Bahri Local Security Committee has also resumed its meetings to secure residential neighborhoods. He emphasized that this expansion necessitates support from Khartoum State to provide services, clear the remnants of war, support the return of citizens, and restore prisons to complete the justice system while reinforcing efforts to remove non-compliant foreigners.

The Director of Police in Khartoum State, Brigadier General Amir Abdel Minam, provided an update on the results of implementing joint security plans and the tight coordination among security agencies, announcing the resumption of police operations in Bahri.

The Director of Security in Khartoum State, Major General Hassan Ali Mohammed Saleh, spoke about the cohesion of the internal front and the monitoring of sleeper cells and collaborators, confirming the participation of the General Intelligence Service in all aspects of the Battle of Dignity.

The meeting also included briefings from leaders of the Wadi Sidna and Omdurman military areas regarding the progress of operations based on established plans and the advancements made on all battlefronts. Several members of the Khartoum State Government presented reports outlining the responsibilities during the ongoing conflict.
