The High Committee for the Rehabilitation of Atbara Airport announces the near completion of the modernization work.

The High Committee for the Rehabilitation and Modernization of Atbara Airport confirmed that the completion rate of the required updates and rehabilitation of Atbara Airport has exceeded (80%).

In its regular meeting today, chaired by Engineer Samir Saeed, Minister of Infrastructure and head of the committee, and in the presence of Mr. Othman Ahmed Othman, Secretary-General of the Government, Mr. Osama Majzoub, Executive Director of Atbara Locality, and Mr. Abdelwahab Mohammed, Director of the Airport, the committee praised the efforts of the entities contributing to the campaign, reviewing the commitments of the companies and institutions and the level of their fulfillment.

The committee also pointed to the significant efforts being made, in coordination with several supporting entities, to complete all the required updates for Atbara Airport and ensure its compliance with all international airport standards.
