The Democratic Unionist Party strongly condemned the heinous crimes and brutal violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces militia against innocent civilians in Rufa'a, Tambool, Al-Sariha, Azraq, Al-Azayba, Karriyat, Zarqa, Al-Tandab, Al-Aribab, Sifita Ghunumab, Al-Saqi'a, and Al-Habika Al-Naqr.

In a statement issued on Saturday, signed by Muhammad Faruq Ali Idris, Secretary of the States Affairs Office, the party expressed profound outrage over the violent acts sweeping through many villages and towns in Al-Jazeera State, especially in East Al-Jazeera and the Al-Sariha area. These acts have led to horrific violations, killings, looting, arbitrary arrests, and forced displacement of innocent civilians.

The Democratic Unionist Party reaffirmed its principled and steadfast position in condemning all forms of violations and crimes committed by the militia against defenseless civilians across various states in Sudan.

The party maintained its call for the unity of Sudanese political forces, civil society, and organizations to take a unified, firm, and resolute stance against the Rapid Support Forces militia and anyone supporting them.

The party also urged the valiant Sudanese Army to double its efforts to protect citizens in Tambool, Rufa'a, and the villages of East Al-Jazeera and to defeat and expel the militia, ultimately leading to their complete eradication.

The Democratic Unionist Party committed to continuing its role through its institutions and committees around the world to raise awareness among the international and regional community and relevant human rights organizations about the scale of war crimes, horrific massacres, and brutal violations committed by the militia recently in Al-Jazeera State, particularly in its eastern region.

Muhammad Faruq, Secretary of the States Affairs Office of the Democratic Unionist Party, reiterated the party's call for the international and regional community to classify the rebellious Rapid Support Forces militia as a terrorist organization due to the heinous crimes and brutal violations they have committed in Sudan, urging accountability and not allowing them to escape punishment.

The party renewed its appeal for international and regional support for the Sudanese Army to strengthen peace, stability, and security across Sudan and to protect citizens from the violence and terrorism perpetrated by these militias.

Faruq praised the heroic role currently played by the Sudanese Army, affirming the party's confidence in the national army's ability to fulfill its responsibilities in maintaining security and stability, protecting Sudan, securing all its borders, and ending the bloody terrorist rebellion.
