The Acting Governor of Kassala commends the role of the National Giad Foundation.

The acting Governor of Kassala, Major General (Retired) Sadiq Muhammad Al-Azraq, praised the role of the Giad Industrial Group in various service fields during a celebration held in Halfa New on the occasion of the opening of the Giad Exhibition. Al-Azraq emphasized the importance of the partnership between the group and the Bashayer Al-Khair Business Group.

He congratulated the armed forces on their efforts to protect the homeland and expressed condolences for the martyrs who sacrificed for the country. He also expressed his happiness at the inauguration of the Giad Engineering Window in Kassala, pointing to the promising potential of the state. He mentioned the imminent reopening of Kassala Airport.

He acknowledged the Giad Group’s prominent role in local development, even as the company has endured difficulties caused by ongoing conflict. Al-Azraq remarked that Giad's achievements in the defense sector have marked it as a critical asset for Sudan, making it a target for external pressures.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Giad Group, Abdullah Abdul-Ma'arouf Muhammad Saad, welcomed the group’s arrival in Kassala State, affirming its readiness to support the armed forces. He also revealed the group’s plans to provide agricultural support in Halfa New and establish an agricultural work center. In closing, Dafa Allah Hamad Shalki, the head of Bashayer Al-Khair Commercial Works, voiced optimism for the success of the partnership with Giad, commending the company’s strong reputation and expressing hope for fruitful outcomes from their collaboration.
