The Sudanese Women's Business Council and the Sudanese Center for Women's Development issued a statement condemning the brutal acts that violate all humanitarian values perpetrated by rebel militias against defenseless citizens in the villages of Al-Jazeera. Below is the text of the statement:

With great sadness and pain that tears at our hearts, we follow the brutal acts committed by the rebel militias that contradict all values of humanity and compassion. These horrific crimes inflicted upon our defenseless people, especially in the Al-Jazeera regions, where our citizens face slaughter, murder, and rape, are scenes of a tragedy that robs innocent lives and wounds the hearts of many.

The Sudan Women's Business Council and the Sudanese Women's Development Center condemn in the strongest possible terms these terrible crimes, which could only be termed a stain on the face of humanity and an affront to all moral and religious norms. These acts are beyond all limits and hurt every Sudanese who has a shred of love for this great nation.

We stand firmly in solidarity with all the victims of these massacres, sending our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, and we assure them that their cries and pains will not go unheard. Targeting defenseless citizens and attacking the security in their villages and towns is evidence of the utter lack of humanity in these militias, highlighting the urgent need to stand against these crimes and stop the bloodshed that has worn down our people.

As Sudanese women, we carry a great national responsibility for our country and our children, and we refuse to be silent witnesses to this devastation. We call on the international community, humanitarian organizations, and all those who believe in the value of life and human rights to take immediate action and adopt decisive positions against these crimes. Those responsible for these atrocities must be held accountable and brought to justice, and a firm stance must be taken to deter any aggression against our people and our land. We will not accept Sudan being turned into a battlefield of destruction and fear. Our beloved country deserves peace and dignity, and we believe that with strong will and unity, we will overcome these crises and return to building a dear, secure, and stable homeland.
