"Democratic Unionist Party Welcomes Al-Burhan’s Call for All-Inclusive National Dialogue, Signals Full Readiness to Participate"

The senior leadership of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP - Original faction), Hatim Al-Sir, has welcomed the call made by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to initiate a comprehensive Sudanese-Sudanese political dialogue. Al-Sir confirmed the party's full readiness to take part in the process to overcome the current challenges facing the nation. He pointed out that the invitation, which is extended without exception or discrimination, reflects a genuine desire to achieve democratic transition, establish civilian rule, and restore peace and stability.

Al-Sir noted that the DUP, under the leadership of Sayyid Mohamed Osman al-Mirghani, has long been a pioneer in advocating for comprehensive national consensus. He affirmed the party's determination to contribute to the success of this dialogue, aiming to strengthen consensus and unite political factions in the lead-up to free and fair elections. Furthermore, the DUP leader praised the presidential amnesty decisions and the provision of necessary guarantees, stating they would crucial in fostering a political climate conducive to the success of the national initiative
