The General Administration of the Horticultural Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, led by Agricultural Engineer Buthaina Muhammad Al-Hassan, Director-General of the Horticultural Sector, participated in the 15th International Salon for Agricultural and Technological Investment in Tunisia from October 31 to November 2, 2025. The delegation also took part in the Marketing and Promotion Committee roundtable of the International Date Palm Council on the sidelines of the event, where they outlined key priorities for the committee’s initial marketing and promotion tasks.

In her speech, Buthaina highlighted Sudan’s abundance of natural resources, including fertile land, numerous rivers, groundwater, and a diverse climate suited for a wide range of crops and grains. She emphasized Sudan’s potential to ensure food security and attract agricultural investment. It is noteworthy that the organizers of each new salon edition aim to organize an international forum that addresses a forward-looking topic related to the agricultural sector and contributes to developing investment.
During this session, the theme of "Enhancing Agricultural Resilience Amid Climate Change" was selected.
