Northern State Health Department Praises Efforts of the Humanitarian Commission in the Health Sector

Dongola – The Director General of the Northern State Ministry of Health, Dr. Sati Hassan Sati, announced the decline of the cholera outbreak in the state, attributing this success to the significant efforts made by various entities and the high level of coordination among the localities and organizations working in the state, particularly UNICEF.
During a joint meeting with the Humanitarian Commission, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ali Khairi, the commissioner, highlighted the commission’s significant contributions in combating diseases and epidemics, particularly cholera, through effective coordination and targeted interventions by its affiliated organizations.
For his part, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ali Khairi confirmed that the commission, through its mechanisms in humanitarian, service, and community sectors, has presented its vision in plans aimed at reducing natural and changing disasters.
Khairi pointed out that the commission has dedicated its efforts in the health sector to actively contribute to mitigating the consequences of diseases, noting that these efforts have visibly impacted the decline of cholera in the state.
He affirmed the commission's commitment to continuing its work across all sectors and areas of intervention, leveraging the expertise of the organizations operating in the state to address the needs of the state in all aspects.
