Abdel-Basit Jaafar Ibrahim, General Director of the Public Transport and Petroleum Administration in White Nile State, announced an adjustment in fuel prices in several cities: Kosti, Rabak, Al-Duwaym, and Al-Gitaina. The new pricing sets a gallon of gasoline at 17,500 Sudanese pounds and a gallon of diesel at 16,450 Sudanese pounds.
This pricing adjustment was approved by Fatima Al-Haj Al-Tayeb, the Acting Minister of Finance, Economy, and Manpower in White Nile State, following a joint meeting recommendation from the Public Transport and Petroleum Administration, the Public Transport Organization and Development Council, and the state’s Economic Committee.
The decision also directed the addition of (50) pounds for transport costs to the pricing structure of free-market diesel and gasoline per gallon in the Al-Salam locality.
