The Sudanese Revolutionary Awakening Council (RAC), led by Sheikh Mousa Hilal, has issued a fierce condemnation of what it termed "brutal terrorist attacks" launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia west of the city of Bara. The assault, which targeted civilians in the localities of Al-Marrah and Sadoun, resulted in numerous casualties and sparked widespread terror among unarmed residents.

In a strongly worded statement, the Council called on the international community and United Nations agencies to fulfill their legal obligations by officially designating the RSF as a "terrorist group," citing its systemic violations and repeated atrocities against innocent civilians across Sudan.

In a significant escalation, Sheikh Mousa Hilal urged all community and tribal factions to launch a comprehensive popular mobilization. He called on local leaders to stand united and work in direct coordination with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) to defend their lands, repel rebel forces, and restore security and stability throughout the country.
