More than 102,000 beneficiaries of health insurance services in the Blue Nile region during September

The National Health Insurance Fund in the Blue Nile region has remained the first destination for residents of the region, as well as those coming from other states. The number of people accessing health insurance services at the Blue Nile regional branch during September reached (102,021) for general practitioners and dental services.

Mr. Qasim Adam Salim, Head of the Statistics Department, explained that the department’s monthly report revealed that (1,555) patients visited the Martyr Dr. Babiker Abdelhamid Diabetes Specialized Center, including (434) diabetic wound cleaning procedures.

In addition, there were (3,117) visits to specialists, (503) beneficiaries from the physiotherapy department, (9,697) from specialized tests, and (60,206) from routine tests at various service points.

Qasim affirmed the department and administration’s continuous efforts to improve statistical work at the branch due to its significant importance in the overall functioning of the Fund.
