The Ministry of Culture and Information announced the extension of the enumeration and registration period for websites, media platforms, and electronic newspapers in the country for an additional two weeks. This is carried out in high and joint coordination with the General Secretariat of the National Council for Press and Printed Publications.
In an official statement, the Ministry confirmed the availability of official registration and accreditation forms at its headquarters in the temporary capital starting from May 31. It called upon all relevant media entities, institutions, and digital newspapers to expedite the regularization of their legal and administrative status within the specified timeframe, taking advantage of the granted grace period provided in cooperation with the Council to organize and regulate electronic media operations.
The Ministry of Culture and Information emphasized that the registration and platform enumeration procedures represent a strict legal and constitutional commitment in accordance with the regulations governing press and media work in the country. It stressed at the same time that failure to complete the required measures after the expiration of this specific deadline will expose violating entities and websites to legal accountability and the enforcement of deterrent administrative and legal measures, in order to preserve professionalism and national media security.
