Militia Continues Shelling Residential Areas; Health Spokesperson Reports 12 Injuries and One Fatality

The rebel militia has continued its deliberate artillery shelling of residential neighborhoods inhabited by civilians. The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, reported one fatality and 12 injuries among civilians due to the militia's shelling of neighborhoods (14, 60) in Kurru. The injured are being treated at Al-No Hospital, and the ministry has been unable to account for those cases that did not reach hospitals.
