Member of the Sovereignty Council, Yasser Al-Atta: This war is led by the Sudanese nation in all its diversity against Sudan's "Devil," named the Janjaweed

Lieutenant General Yasser Abdul Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, affirmed the unity of the Sudanese people in their fight against the Janjaweed militia.

He made these remarks while addressing the joint forces in Omdurman and the revolutionary battalions of special support groups, which operate under the Armed Forces as part of the popular resistance.

He added that the atrocities and violations committed by this terrorist militia are not surprising.

He affirmed that the Sudanese people will remain resilient and unbreakable.

The Sovereignty Council member praised the joint forces and the youth of the glorious December revolution, describing their fight side by side with the Armed Forces as a meeting of revolutionaries.

He also inspected the training and preparation for operations of these forces, which work alongside the Armed Forces in Khartoum State.
