Islamic Da'wah Organization Explores Investment Opportunities in Energy and Oil

Port Sudan – Dr. Mohieddin Naeem Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Energy and Oil, highlighted various investment opportunities in Sudan’s oil, gas, electricity, and petroleum services sectors, encouraging interest from entities with robust financial and technical resources.
In a recent meeting with Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Da'wah Organization, Dr. Saeed welcomed the organization’s expressed interest in expanding its investments in oil and gas, as well as its petroleum service projects in Sudan.
Sheikh Al Mahmoud confirmed the organization’s continued commitment to Sudan, highlighting its work in supporting and educating communities across Sudan and other African and Islamic countries. He also discussed the significant damage the organization has faced amid the current conflict, revealing losses estimated at around $50 million. This includes 125 vehicles and other essential equipment. Additionally, the Danfodio Company building, which the organization operates for oil services like drilling, is currently occupied by rebel forces.
