Increase in Sesame Crop Supply at Tendelti Agricultural Market

The agricultural crop market in Tendelti locality is experiencing a significant increase in the inflow of various cash and food crops, particularly sesame, which is available in three types: white, red, and rope sesame. The daily supply of these crops has reached between 1,800 and 2,000 quintals, with prices per quintal exceeding 80,000 Sudanese pounds.

The Director of the Tendelti Crop Market stated that this year will be exceptional due to the success of the summer rainy agricultural season, which has been rated very good. This success is expected to significantly increase the productivity of various crops in the locality, leading to a rise in supply volumes to the locality’s crop markets.

He indicated that these days are witnessing good inflows of agricultural crops, and in the coming days, additional crops are expected to enter the market, especially peanuts, hibiscus, sorghum, cowpeas, and watermelon seeds.
