Governor of White Nile Discusses Health Situation in the State with Federal Health Minister

Omar Khalifa Abdullah, the Governor of White Nile State, confirmed the stability of the health situation in the state during his meeting with Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim in Port Sudan.
The governor expressed his gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Health for its support of the state’s health sector, explaining that his visit was intended to strengthen coordination between the federal ministry and the state. He highlighted the state’s need for medical equipment and devices, noting that crisis management requires a different approach than routine operations. He also praised the contributions of partners and the dedication of the medical staff working in the state.
For his part, Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim commended the efforts of the Governor of White Nile State in stabilizing the situation, particularly in health services, as well as his wise leadership and ambitious determination to utilize incoming medical personnel to provide quality services. He expressed his happiness with the governor's visit.
The minister pledged to rehabilitate health institutions in White Nile State and address shortages of medical equipment. He also proposed the formation of a committee to spearhead a health initiative in the state and stressed the importance of joint coordination to maintain uninterrupted health services.
