Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, expressed appreciation for the support directed toward the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity, welcoming a convoy organized by local businessmen, including the Al-Insafi Group. The convoy, consisting of four trucks carrying food supplies, was designated for the Air Defense Forces.
The governor noted that, despite extensive damage to businesses and community activities due to systematic looting by militias, as well as the destruction and burning of markets, factories, and crops in the Gezira region, solidarity, compassion, and generosity continue to define the Sudanese people. He praised Sudanese expatriates, especially the Al-Insafi Group, for providing vital support to affected citizens within Sudan, particularly to those who have lost their sources of income.
Governor Hamza expressed gratitude on behalf of the state government to the business community for their active engagement in addressing public needs. Representatives of the Al-Insafi Group and the wider business community affirmed that their contributions are a demonstration of their commitment to the nation, pledging continued support until the rebel militias are fully defeated.
The convoy’s reception was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qaim, Director General of the Ministry of Health, and the Executive Director of Jabal Awliya locality.
