Sovereignty Council member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Engineer Bahri Advisor Ibrahim Jaber, reaffirmed the Sudanese government’s commitment to ensuring that those who violate the rights of the Sudanese people and undermine the country’s stability will not escape justice.
This statement came during his meeting with a delegation from the Youth for Peace, Development, and Humanitarian Aid Organization, led by Police General Osman Kabashi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Monitoring Initiative for Documenting Violations by the Rapid Support Militia.
General Osman Kabashi explained in a press statement that the meeting discussed several issues related to the struggle for dignity and the violations committed against the Sudanese people by the rebel Rapid Support Militia. He highlighted the organization’s program, which focuses on monitoring the militia's violations, reviewing the victims, and submitting reports to the judiciary. The organization’s team plans to visit Khartoum State and other regions to complete documentation and cover all those affected by the militia's actions.
The Chairman of the Youth for Peace Organization further added that they intend to hold a workshop to present the violations through a documentary film. Additionally, they aim to establish partnerships with national and international organizations to bring the issue to the highest levels of litigation, ensuring that justice is served and those responsible for crimes against the Sudanese people and their resources are held accountable.
