Civil Defense and the Sudanese Electricity Company in Al-Qadarif contain a fire at the transformer station

The Civil Defense Police in Al-Qadarif state and the Sudanese Electricity Company managed to contain a large fire at the Karari transformer station following heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds, which caused a fire at the main station and resulted in total darkness in several neighborhoods of Al-Qadarif municipality and villages in the rural area of Central Al-Qadarif.

Led by Brigadier Bakr Mahmoud, Director of Civil Defense Police, and Engineer Ammar Fadl, Director of the Sudanese Electricity Company in Al-Qadarif, the Civil Defense team worked alongside electricity company engineers to control the massive fire. Despite various challenges, the electricity team managed to restore power following extensive engineering efforts.

Acting Governor of Al-Qadarif, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam commended the dedication of both the Sudanese Electricity Company workers and Civil Defense personnel for their quick response and commitment to containing the fire and restoring power to affected areas as swiftly as possible.
