Team Ahmed Al-Omdah Badi, the Governor of the Blue Nile Region, directed the Ministries of Finance and Economic Planning and Agriculture and Forests to work on improving performance and adhering to the regulations and laws governing the work between the two ministries. This directive was given during a joint meeting attended by Engineer Abdullah Isa Zayed, the Minister of Agriculture and Forests, and Mr. Jamal Ahmed Saleh, Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and acting minister, along with general directors and their deputies from both ministries.

Mr. Mirghani Maki Mirghani, the Secretary-General of the Regional Government, clarified that the meeting was part of the ongoing preparations to draft proposals for the new budget project for the upcoming year 2025, noting that the meeting agreed on the necessary measures to increase financial flows and revenues through enhanced coordination between the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture in the region. He added that the governor expressed appreciation for both ministries' efforts and achievements in the previous period, recognizing their progress despite challenging circumstances.
