The workshop aims to raise awareness about the crime of human trafficking and the significant developments in criminal networks, especially given that it is a transnational crime. It also seeks to educate victims on how to report incidents, request protection, and the entities that can assist in addressing the crime. Additionally, it aims to inform and coordinate with partners regarding the emergency plan developed by the national committee for the upcoming year.

The workshop includes scientific papers and specialized studies in the fields of combating human trafficking crimes, addressing the impacts of this crime, and methods of handling it. It also features discussions and deliberations to develop recommendations on human trafficking.
