Acting Governors of Kassala and Gedaref offer condolences to the family of martyr Sha'a Al-Din

The Acting Governors of Kassala and Gedaref, Mr. Omar Osman Adam and Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, along with several military and executive leaders from the two states and the localities of Halfa Al-Jadida and Nahr Atbara, offered their condolences to the families of martyr Brigadier General Ahmed Sha'a Al-Din, the advanced commander of Sahl Al-Butana in the Retaga area of Nahr Atbara, who was martyred defending the land and honor.


Saif Al-Dawla Ali Youssef Omara, the representative of the martyr's family, welcomed everyone and thanked them for offering their condolences and sympathies to the family. He said that the martyr was a man of national stature and that his martyrdom would be the beginning of a great victory over the rebel militia, affirming that the Sudanese people will stand vigilant against anyone who threatens the security and stability of the country. Bashir Babiker Al-Amash, the executive director of Nahr Atbara locality, emphasized that the armed forces are a national institution that unites all groups.


He added that the martyr sought martyrdom in the jungles of the south and achieved it in the land of Al-Butana, affirming full readiness to face the enemy and calling for more weapons. The head of the Popular Resistance in Nahr Atbara, Omda Ezz El-Din, stated that the establishment of the Rawat Camp in Sahl Al-Butana was due to the efforts of the martyr and the leadership of the 11th Infantry Division, indicating that there will be no retreat from jihad. He called for the establishment of a joint operations room between Kassala and Gedaref states to protect the region.

Omar Mohamed Hamad Abu Sin, deputy chief of the Shukriyya tribe in Gedaref state, also spoke, thanking everyone for their condolences. He said that martyrdom is the highest rank in life. He sent a message to the rebel Abu Shotal, who had become arrogant, affirming the readiness of the Shukriyya tribe and the social components to stand united with the Sudanese army and fight the rebels. Major General Omar Mohamed Al-Hassan, the second-in-command of the 11th Infantry Division, stated that they came to congratulate the family on the martyrdom of Brigadier General Sha'a Al-Din, who sought martyrdom since joining the armed forces. He said that God willed that the martyr passes away among his people and in his region.


Maj. Gen. Omar Mohamed Al-Hassan, a second-in-command of the 11th Infantry Division, conveyed that Brigadier General Sha'a Al-Din was a dedicated soldier known for undertaking challenging missions. He commended the late Brigadier's bravery and commitment to his people and homeland. Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, Acting Governor of Gedaref, celebrated the Brigadier’s valor and acknowledged the recent victories in Suki and Dinder as evidence of Sudan's advancing position in the battle, with hopes of soon securing Sennar.

Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of Kassala explained that the moment combines condolences for the loss of a noble son of Sudan and congratulations for his martyrdom, which he sought. He said that the government of Kassala state feels a deep loss for the martyr, affirming that the armed forces and the Sudanese people will never be defeated, no matter how enemies of evil conspire. He emphasized that the war targeted the Sudanese nation in its values and the country in its resources, and it served as a lesson. He further noted that the armed forces bring continuous victories and reaffirmed the state’s support for the Popular Resistance, conveying the condolences of the Acting Governor of Kassala, Major General (retired) Al-Sadiq Mohamed Al-Azraq, who will personally arrive to offer his condolences.
