The Native Administration in South Kordofan State has categorically denied the validity of rumors circulated by media platforms affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N/Al-Hilu faction). These rumors alleged that a meeting was held with the Commander of the 14th Infantry Division in Kadugli to demand the surrender of the cities of Kadugli and Dilling.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Native Administration described these reports as "toxins intended to destabilize trust between citizens, their native leadership, and their Armed Forces." The statement reaffirmed their unwavering stance in supporting the Armed Forces and backing the state government's efforts to maintain security and stability.

Condemnation of Attack on UNISFA

In a related context, the Native Administration strongly condemned and denounced the drone attack carried out by the militia on the headquarters of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) in Kadugli, which is mandated to monitor the borders between Sudan and South Sudan.

They deemed the attack a flagrant violation of international law and conventions protecting UN missions, calling on the international community and the United Nations to take punitive measures against the RSF and the SPLM-N for this criminal conduct.

Decisive Meeting and Government Assurance

The statement was presented to the Governor of South Kordofan, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel Karim, during a joint meeting organized by the High Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance (via the Civil Support Committee). The meeting included Native Administrations from the Greater Kadugli localities (Kadugli, Eastern Reef, Buram, Heiban, and Um Dorein), in the presence of the State Cabinet and the State Security Committee.

Addressing the meeting, the Governor expressed his absolute confidence in the leaders of the Native Administration. He described the allegations raised against its honorable members as "pure fabrication and a desperate attempt within a psychological warfare campaign to tarnish their reputation" as punishment for their sincere stance with the State. The Governor noted that he had previously issued decisions to dismiss more than forty Native Administration figures in the state after their direct links to the rebellion were proven, in implementation of federal directives.

The Governor reassured citizens that the Armed Forces are capable of protecting and securing their areas of responsibility, announcing that the coming days will witness a positive shift in the theater of operations, stressing that "securing South Kordofan is securing all of Sudan."

Police Readiness and Mobilization

On his part, the State Police Director, Major General Moataz Ahmed Kaddiro, confirmed the readiness of police forces to fight alongside the Armed Forces. He called on the Native Administrations to unite and close ranks, praising the role of the Popular Resistance in unifying official and popular efforts.

In the same vein, the Head of the Civil Support Committee within the High Committee for Mobilization, Abu Al-Bashir Abdel Qader Hussein, revealed a plan to deploy more than 4,000 mobilized recruits in the eastern and western sectors of the state in the coming days to support Armed Forces movements across several axes.

Furthermore, the Head of the Women’s Committee within the High Committee for Mobilization, Sumaya Kafi Tayyar Al-Badin, confirmed the continued cooperation of women with the Native Administrations in awareness programs and debunking rumors to reinforce confidence in the Army's ability to decide the battle.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Emirs, Omdas, and Sheikhs of the Native Administration reiterated their confirmation that the circulated rumors do not represent them but rather represent the entities that launched them to serve their own agendas, declaring their continued standing in the same trench with the Armed Forces in the "Battle of Dignity."
