Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Meets with Governor of Kassala State

General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a meeting today with the acting Governor of Kassala State, retired Major General Al-Sadiq Mohamed Al-Azraq.

Following the meeting, the Governor of Kassala State provided a press statement, outlining the briefing he presented to the Chairman on the overall security, service, and health conditions in Kassala State. He also detailed the ongoing efforts to meet the essential needs of citizens and provide shelter for those displaced due to the repercussions of the rebellion by the terrorist militia.

Governor Al-Azraq mentioned that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council showed great responsiveness and support for all the issues facing the state, including the essential needs provision for the citizens.

The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to enhancing security and stability, working towards resolving the state's challenges to achieve the desired development, and addressing the issue of sheltering the displaced.
