General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, on his way to China

The General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council has traveled to China to participate in the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which is being held in Beijing from September 4-6.

Al Burhan will lead the Sudanese delegation and hold talks with Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of China , to strengthen bilateral cooperation and sign agreements.

The forum will explore cooperation opportunities between China and African countries in areas such as governance, manufacturing, security, and the Belt and Road Initiative.

To concluding documents will be issued by the conference to promote cooperation between China and African countries in the coming years.
