Ndaba pointed out that although active ILO projects in Sudan had been halted due to the war, the organization is now focused on improving livelihoods and vital infrastructure for refugees, internally displaced persons, and host communities in the country.

The Qatar Director of the International Labour Organization expressed the organization’s solidarity with the Sudanese people who have been affected by the war, announcing the organization’s intention to open an office in Port Sudan.

He expressed condolences to the victims of the war in Sudan, hoping that the crisis will find a just, swift, and fair solution for the Sudanese people. He stated, “We will work with labour partners in Sudan to develop decent work,” emphasizing the organization’s commitment to establishing partnerships with Sudan in areas related to workers and employment.
