Training Workshop on Strategic Planning for Crisis Management Launched in Sudan; Focus on Recovery, Building, and Development

A training workshop on strategic planning and the development of emergency and crisis management plans was launched, with the participation of health insurance leaders from across Sudan and all branches of health insurance in the states. The workshop was prepared and led by Professor Mohamed Hussein Abu Salah.
During the opening session, Dr. Farouk Nour Eldaim, General Director of Health Insurance in Sudan, announced the beginning of a recovery phase for health insurance, under the slogan "Recovery, Building, Development." He emphasized that recovery requires comprehensive planning, addressing existing gaps, and considering known variables.

Dr. Farouk Faisal, Director of Health Insurance in River Nile State, highlighted that River Nile was fortunate to host this important training course with the presence of Professor Abu Salah, who is widely recognized in his field. He noted that sound planning is one of the key factors enabling the health insurance system to stand on solid ground despite the storms and challenges.
Professor Mohamed Hussein Abu Salah focused on the importance of analyzing the current situation and future forecasts. He pointed out that the future situation will witness several changes regarding population structure, services, and the establishment of new cities based on different data.
