The Sudanese Football Association visits the General Directorate of Passports and Civil Registry

Brigadier General Salah Al-Din Adam Salah Al-Din, Director of Public Affairs at the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration, representing the Director of the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration, received a high-level delegation from the Sudanese Football Association, headed by the President of the Association, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar, Vice President Mr. Taha Faki, Secretary General Mr. Magdy Shams Al-Din, Mohamed Sar Al-Khatim Al-Jakoumi, and Mr. Badr Al-Din Al-Khairi, during their visit to the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration and the General Directorate of Civil Registry.

The purpose of the visit was to express gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding support provided by the Directorate to the Football Association's various activities. It acknowledged the efforts made by the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration, both domestically and internationally, in overcoming the challenges faced by the teams in a short period.

Brigadier General Salah Al-Din praised the Sudanese Football Association delegation for their visit to congratulate the Passports Directorate on the successful issuance of passports and the facilitation of movement for Sudanese citizens. He commended the significant role played by the Directorate in clearing the passport backlog, achieving a "Zero Passport". He noted that the advancements made by the Passports Directorate have led to streamlined and simplified procedures.

Salah also congratulated the Sudanese Football Association on the national team’s victories, which have brought honor to Sudan in international competitions, highlighting their latest win against the Ghanaian team. He noted that the national team's results reflect the dedicated attention given by the Football Association’s leaders. Salah confirmed the Directorate's commitment to overcoming any obstacles facing the teams, especially regarding passports, and conveyed the greetings of General Police Chief Khalid Hassan Mohieddin for the national team’s achievements in the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers. For his part, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar, President of the Sudanese Football Association, stated that the purpose of the visit was to express gratitude to the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration and the General Directorate of Civil Registry for the significant achievement of reaching a "Zero Passport" status. He highlighted the Directorate's vital role in easing the challenges faced by the teams representing Sudan in international competitions, noting their sincere cooperation in resolving all issues related to passports and civil registry.
