The Representative of the White Nile Governor Praises Significant Progress in Hajj and Umrah Affairs' Procedures

Dr. Al-Tayeb Ali Issa, Director-General and Acting Minister of Education and Guidance and Representative of the Governor of White Nile State, praised the significant progress in electronic procedures and transactions by the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Secretariat.
His remarks were made today during the evaluation workshop for the 1445 AH Hajj season, held under the slogan "Quality and Excellence in Serving the Guests of Allah" at the Social Development Hall in Kosti. The event was attended by Dr. Idris Ali Musa, representing the Federal Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abu Ubaida Omar Ajabeen, Executive Director of Kosti Locality, Dr. Fathi Mahdi Ahmed, Secretary of Hajj and Umrah Affairs in the state, Hamad Abdullah Musa, Director of the Local Governance Bureau, Colonel Khalid Babiker, Director of Passports in the state, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Legal Administration, Hajj and Umrah partners, and members of the Supreme Committee, the mission, and leaders of the 1445 AH Hajj season.
The governor's representative emphasized the importance of the workshop in enhancing successful aspects and addressing the shortcomings. He stressed the need to learn from other countries' experiences in improving Hajj services and called for increased awareness and guidance well before the start of the Hajj season.
Dr. Abu Ubaida Omar Ajabeen, Executive Director of Kosti Locality, appreciated the efforts made by the Hajj and Umrah Affairs in the state in providing the necessary services to pilgrims, ensuring that they perform their rituals correctly.
Similarly, Dr. Idris Musa Awad Al-Karim, representative of the Federal Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah, stated that the White Nile State achieved advanced ranks in the 1445 AH Hajj season based on the criteria and surveys distributed by the Supreme Council regarding the service packages. He praised the well-organized procedures and planning by the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Secretariat from the beginning of the application process for the 1445 AH Hajj season and stressed the importance of involving pilgrims in the workshop, as they are the real stakeholders, to provide their feedback on the performance of the Hajj mission. He added that the recommendations from this workshop will guide the planning for the 1446 AH Hajj season.
Dr. Fathi Mahdi Ahmed, Secretary of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs in White Nile State, confirmed that the early procedures for the 1445 AH Hajj season had a positive impact on the success of the season, despite the challenges and security conditions. He attributed this success to the high level of coordination with the state's executive bodies and Hajj partners. He also extended special thanks to the Passport Administration for facilitating the pilgrims' tasks and expressed his gratitude to the state government and Kosti Locality for welcoming pilgrims from the western states who passed through the state.
Participants in the workshop, including group leaders and pilgrims, discussed the positives and negatives that accompanied the 1445 AH Hajj season. The participants recommended the need for guidance on pilgrims' behavior, coordination with transit states for overnight stays, and attention to female pilgrims' guidance.
The pilgrims praised the service packages, the ease of completing procedures, and the outstanding performance of the mission members and group leaders.
