The General Intelligence Service supports Northern State with quantities of medicine.

The National Medical Supplies Fund branch in Northern State has received a contribution from the General Intelligence Service, which included quantities of intravenous fluids, antibiotics, antivenoms for scorpion stings, and malaria medications. The handover took place at the Fund's warehouse in Dongola and was attended by Dr. Hamd Al-Neel Al-Baqir Ahmed, Director of the National Medical Supplies Fund branch in Northern State, Haroun Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, Representative of the General Intelligence Service and Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Arbab, Director of Free Medicine at the Fund's state branch.
Dr. Hamd Al-Neel Al-Baqir Ahmed praised the efforts of the General Intelligence Service and its support for the ongoing work by the Ministry of Health and related bodies in combating diseases and epidemics triggered by the rainy season, especially the cholera outbreak. He emphasized that the medicines provided by the service are a valuable addition to the state's healthcare resources.
In turn, the director of free medicine at the branch explained that the medication received from the General Intelligence Service will be distributed to the localities affected by rains and floods, where diseases and epidemics have appeared. He expressed his gratitude to the General Intelligence Service for this support.
Haroun Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, representing the General Intelligence Service, underscored that the aid was part of the service’s humanitarian and professional duty towards the citizens of Northern State, aimed at reducing their suffering and addressing the cholera epidemic. He conveyed greetings from the General Intelligence Service headquarters and the service’s state director, Brigadier Omar Mustafa, affirming their ongoing commitment to supporting the state until it fully recovers from the health challenges brought on by the rainy season.
