The arrival of the 16th plane as part of the Kuwaiti air bridge to Sudan, carrying humanitarian aid for victims of war and floods. The aid includes vehicles and relief materials delivered to the Sudanese Red Crescent, reaffirming Kuwait's solidarity with Sudan.

The 16th flight of the second Kuwaiti airlift of humanitarian aid to Sudan has arrived at Port Sudan Airport, aimed at supporting those affected by war, floods, and heavy rains. The flight carried assistance that included vehicles and relief supplies from the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society.


The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Al-Dhafiri, announced that the plane carried 20 tons of aid, including four four-wheel-drive vehicles, food supplies, and blankets, all of which were delivered to the Sudanese Red Crescent Society. This airlift, which began on August 14, is aimed at assisting those affected by the floods and heavy rains that have hit Sudan during the current rainy season.


Ambassador Al-Dhafiri confirmed the continuation of Kuwaiti humanitarian aid, which comes in the implementation of the directives of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, reflecting the solidarity of the Kuwaiti people with their brothers in Sudan.


The ambassador expressed hope that this aid will help alleviate the suffering of the affected individuals and contribute to Sudan's recovery from the crises it is facing.
