The General Administration of Crops Markets in Gedaref State has announced the opening of applications for companies, businesses, and crop traders to participate in the new marketing season, in preparation for the upcoming auction operations in the coming days.

In this regard, the acting Governor of Gedaref, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, and the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Manpower, Ms. Nagat Ahmed Mohamed, paid a visit today to the market administration. They held a joint meeting with the market administration and the Gedaref Crop Traders Association, during which they reviewed the readiness for the marketing season's opening and the requirements to facilitate the trade movement for various crops and provide essential services.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam highlighted the importance of modernizing the market's weighing systems and creating a conducive environment for all market participants. He underscored the significant role of the crop markets in generating revenue, which contributes to enhancing services and supporting the state's development.
