Sudanese Businessman Donates Over Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Bags of Flour to War and Flood-Affected States

As all regular forces involved in the Battle of Dignity advance on all combat fronts, attention is increasingly being focused on providing aid to citizens. The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, confirmed that the state is highly concerned with improving the living conditions of citizens affected by the war, who have lost their sources of income.
During his reception today of the aid provided by Ahmed Ismail Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Northern Cement Factory, and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Government of Khartoum State, Al-Hadi Abdel-Sayed, the Minister of Social Development, Sidique Farini, local executive directors, and the Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid, the governor emphasized the significance of this support. He praised its quantity and timely delivery, which will assist resilient citizens who have remained in their homes, as well as those returning from abroad and individuals recently displaced by the war from other states.
The governor praised the philanthropists who contributed to supporting the charities both from within and outside the country, as they have become a source of food. He directed the technical committee composed of state officials, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, and the Maraki Organization to distribute the support from the Northern Cement Factory fairly to all categories.
The Minister of Social Development, Sidique Farini, commended the initiative, stating that it contributes to the efforts of Khartoum State in providing relief to citizens and assisting those affected by the war according to the agreed-upon mechanisms.
The Director of the Maraki Organization stated that the organization acts as the distributor for Northern Cement to allocate the support to the benefiting states and works with the states to determine distribution mechanisms.
Othman Al-Khair, representative of the Northern Cement Factory, explained that Chairman Ahmed Ismail Saleh decided to support all states of Sudan with 2,650,000 bags of flour, of which one million bags have been distributed so far, with Khartoum State receiving 93,000 bags of flour.
