Standards and Metrology Authority Honors Director of Nile River State Police

Atbara – The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority, led by its Director, Ms. Rahba Saeed Abdullah, honored Police Major General Salman Mohamed Al-Tayeb Saad, Director of Nile River State Police, in recognition of his supportive contributions and valued cooperation in advancing the Authority’s work in the state.
The ceremony took place during a visit by the Director of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority to the Nile River State Police headquarters, where she was accompanied by a delegation of senior officials and department heads as part of her tour across the state.
Both sides discussed ways to strengthen their partnership and explore opportunities for further development to serve the public interest. Ms. Rahba praised Major General Salman's commitment to supporting the Authority, referencing his visit to the Nile River sector in April of this year, and underscored the importance of continued cooperation for enhancing coordination.
In response, Police Director Major General Salman expressed his gratitude for the honor, thanking the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority and its staff for their recognition. He highlighted the strong relationship between the police force and the Authority, acknowledging its crucial national role in economic, developmental, and regulatory matters. He affirmed that the Nile River State Police will continue to support the Authority’s mission within the state.
