Northern State Governor visits injured members of the Joint Forces at Dongola Military Hospital

Dongola - The Governor of Northern State, Abideen Awadallah, visited the wounded and injured members of the Joint Forces at Dongola Military Hospital and provided them with support from the state's Zakat Chamber. The governor praised the sacrifices of the Joint Forces, who bravely repelled repeated militia attacks on El Fasher, stating that the Joint Forces had given lessons in patriotism and defending the Sudanese state. He also congratulated them on their victories over the rebel militias.
Governor Awadallah emphasized that the care provided by the government and the people of Northern State to the injured members of the Joint Forces reflects the state's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Darfur states across all sectors.
Meanwhile, Al-Hadi Mohamed Ahmed, Secretary of the Zakat Chamber in Northern State, confirmed ongoing support for the Armed Forces in the Battle of Dignity. He outlined the Zakat Chamber's initiatives, which include providing meals and aid to the wounded and their families at both Dongola and Merowe military hospitals. He also mentioned the Chamber's continued assistance to displaced people and host families, announcing plans for a convoy to be sent in the coming days to support the Armed Forces on the front lines.
Darfur Regional Government Coordinator in the state, Chief Taher Adam, thanked the state government and its people, represented by the Popular Resistance and women, for their warm welcome and care for the injured members of the Joint Forces. He also noted that the Northern State is hosting over three million displaced people from various Sudanese states due to the war.
