This morning, the Executive Director of Dalgo locality, Mr. Mudathir Sharaf Al-Din, met with a team from the state's Technical Education Directorate, including the Director of Technical Education, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Sheikh Fadel, and the Director of Secondary Education for Dalgo and Halfa localities, Mr. Nasir Shawqi. They discussed plans to establish a technical education institute in Dalgo.

Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Sheikh Fadel emphasized the importance of technical education in boosting the economy and productivity, not just in Dalgo and the Northern State, but throughout Sudan. He assured that both the locality and the state would work together to make sure the institute is established.

Mr. Mudathir Sharaf Al-Din confirmed that they have agreed to open the institute, providing a valuable opportunity for students who didn’t pursue academic education or are interested in learning technical skills.

The institute will start with programs in electronics, computing, and electrical work, along with other skilled trades. Mr. Mudathir Sharaf Al-Din expressed gratitude to the Director General of the Ministry of Education for quickly supporting the project. He also mentioned that the locality is prepared to meet the institute's needs, and a temporary location has already been selected. The institute is expected to start in the next academic year, training graduates to support the local job market.

The delegation also visited the proposed site for the technical institute to assess its suitability.
