Health Ministry of Khartoum: Transfer of Critical Cases from Bahri to State Hospitals

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Khartoum State, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, stated that the intervention carried out by the ministry since the first day of the sanitization of the northern Bahri area resulted in the response to several critical medical cases. In this context, he referred to the evacuation and medical assistance provided to a woman who experienced severe complications due to the militia's siege on civilian areas, depriving them of necessary medical care and adequate food, which led to a deterioration in her health. This woman is currently receiving treatment at Al-Nou Hospital, in addition to other cases being treated in various state hospitals.

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim confirmed that the Health Emergency Committee, through its various mechanisms, is working according to the plan announced by the Governor of Khartoum to provide a bridge of health and food assistance to the northern Bahri areas. He emphasized that his committee has responded to these directives significantly, supplying the healthcare institutions in Bahri with all their needs.
