Governor of North Kordofan Oversees Security Forces' Achievement in Arresting Dormant Cell in Al-Obeid

The Governor of North Kordofan, Mr. Abdel-Khalik Abdel-Latif, visited the state police headquarters to acknowledge the significant achievement of the security forces in apprehending a dormant cell affiliated with the rebel militia in a house in one of Al-Obeid's neighborhoods, where they found several identification documents and passports.

The governor praised the vigilance of the security forces, affirming the capability of the armed forces and security agencies to protect the country and its citizens.

For his part, Major General Dr. Abdullah Abdel-Rahman, Director of North Kordofan Police and a member of the state's security committee, stated in a press release that the security forces succeeded in apprehending a dormant cell comprising several individuals in possession of ownership documents for several vehicles, along with various other documents and passports.

He explained that this achievement highlights the commitment of all security and military agencies to secure and monitor the city against infiltrating cells and to expose the dormant cells of the rebel militia.

He stressed that the regular forces will remain vigilant in safeguarding the nation's security and urged the public to cooperate with the security and military agencies by reporting and identifying dormant cells or those collaborating with rebel militias.
