The acting governor of Kassala, retired Brigadier General Al-Sadiq Muhammad Al-Azraq, praised the stance of the Sudanese people and their support for the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity. While addressing the graduation ceremony of the Nafisa Bint Munia camp for female volunteers and the camp for male volunteers in the Al-Karmata district, he emphasized that the armed forces are not fighting alone in this battle. A vast population stands by them, supporting them with prayers from the righteous in mosques and religious schools.

The governor paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity from the armed forces, the joint forces, other regular forces, volunteers, and citizens who stood side by side with the military. He stated that the armed forces have every right to take pride in the people who continue to provide lessons in solidarity and support, offering financial and emotional backing, even sacrificing their lives for the nation, which has been plagued by conspiracies for a long time.

Al-Azraq expressed happiness in celebrating the graduation of a new cohort of young men and women, stating that Kassala was one of the first states to respond to the call of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces when he announced the popular mobilization in support of the army. He further noted that the role of women is not limited to raising children and staying at home; rather, they are proving to be strong supporters of men who fight for the nation.

The governor also praised the social harmony in the Al-Karmata district, where diverse community groups have come together, highlighting significant social reconciliation and cohesion in the region. He called on all tribes and communities to unite behind the armed forces and prioritize the nation's interests above all else. Al-Azraq reiterated that the only solution is to align with the armed forces, which continue to achieve victory, working to clear Khartoum and other states of aggressors. He commended the quality of the performances displayed during the graduation.

Retired Navy General Musa Ahmed Musa, head of the Popular Resistance and Mobilization in Kassala State, affirmed the continuation of training programs for volunteers and sending them to the frontlines to participate in the Battle of Dignity until the militia is eradicated. He expressed his hope that the newly graduated group would be a valuable addition to the forces ensuring the security of the state and the city of Kassala.

Musa also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity from Kassala State, particularly those from the northern Saqaya area. He announced that their names would be immortalized by naming mobilization camps after them. Additionally, he congratulated the armed forces on their victories in Khartoum and other operational areas, expressing his confidence in both God and the army’s leadership, all the way down to the last fighter on the battlefield.

Zahra Muhammad Khalil, the supervisor of the women's volunteer camp in Al-Karmata, welcomed the attendees at the graduation ceremony. She reviewed the training period, which lasted nearly a year and expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the preparation, supervision, and support of the camp from various sectors.
