The Governor of Al-Jazira State, Mr. Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khayr, emphasized that the battle to liberate Jabal Moya would remain a significant and proud moment in Sudanese history, symbolizing the nation's determination and faith in their armed forces. He noted that the victory at Jabal Moya serves as a powerful example to both the world and the nations involved in conspiracies against Sudan, as the Sudanese armed forces successfully overcame the strategic stronghold used by the enemy in the mountainous terrain.
He explained that the countries that conspired and amassed all weapons against Sudan have had those weapons turn into spoils in the hands of the armed forces heroes. He stressed that every honorable Sudanese has the right to take pride in the victories achieved by the armed forces on all fronts against the largest conspiracy campaign the country has faced.
This statement came during the governor’s visit to the Jabal Moya mountains, recently liberated by the Sudanese armed forces from mercenaries and terrorist militias. He was accompanied by members of the state security committee and the deputy head of the popular resistance in Al-Jazira State. The delegation was welcomed by Major General Abdul-Munim Abdul-Basit, Commander of the Sinjar Mobile Forces, Colonel Yasser Abdul-Rahman Harikah, Commander of the Sinjar Mobile Force, and Colonel Abdullah Ahmed Omar Abdon, Commander of the Black Dignity Mobile Force.
Major General Abdul-Munim Abdul-Basit affirmed that the victories achieved by the valiant armed forces remain beacons in the land of Sudan, dispelling the threads of conspiracy wherever they may be. He added that these victories will remain a badge of honor resistant to the winds of forgetfulness, emphasizing that the armed forces will continue to guard the sovereignty, dignity, and honor of the Sudanese people.
The Second Commander of the First Infantry Division, Colonel Khalid Al-Haj, indicated that the liberation of Jabal Moya has raised morale and deterred those who attempt to appease the countries of evil and conspiracy, affirming that the security, stability, and tranquility of the Sudanese people is a red line that the armed forces will not allow to be compromised. He pointed out that the heroes nurtured in the bosom of loyalty and raised in the embrace of nationalism are daggers on the sides of enemies. Colonel Khalid Al-Haj, the Second Commander of the First Infantry Division, expressed that the liberation of Jabal Moya had boosted the morale of the forces and served as a deterrent to those siding with conspirators. He reiterated that the security and stability of the Sudanese people are non-negotiable and that the armed forces would not allow any threat to compromise this.
In conclusion of the visit, the Governor of Al-Jazira State and the accompanying delegation presented a support convoy to the heroes of Jabal Moya.
