Governor Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair Prioritizes Medical and Food Aid in Al-Jazirah State with Convoy to Deem Al-Mashayekha

In implementation of the directives of the Governor of Al-Jazirah State, Mr. Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, regarding the dispatch of a medical and food convoy to the villages of Deem Al-Mashayekha to address the medical and food needs of the residents, a convoy has been dispatched containing all necessary medical, preventive, and treatment supplies, along with 800 sacks of flour.

The Governor of Al-Jazirah State confirmed that providing medicine, vaccines, and food is a top priority for the state government and a rightful entitlement for citizens. He pointed out that, despite the challenges, ensuring the provision of medicine and food remains a strategic goal pursued by the state government as a tribute to the people of the region, who support the armed forces.

Dr. Habeeb Allah Al-Nour Mohammed Ahmed, Director of the Department of Pharmacy and Poisons, explained that the convoy includes all necessary medical, preventive, and treatment supplies for the villages of Deem Al-Mashayekha and safe areas. This is one of the fruits of joint coordination between the state government, the Ministry of Health in Al-Jazirah State, and the Humanitarian Aid Commission. He confirmed that the convoy meets all urgent needs.

Mr. Asaad Al-Sir, the Humanitarian Aid Commissioner in the state, highlighted the size of the assistance being sent to the Deem Al-Mashayekha area in South Al-Jazirah Locality, consisting of food and medical supplies. He confirmed that the coming period will witness more urgent humanitarian interventions to meet any requirements in the next stage.
