The Fur Tribal Leaders and Shura Council, led by Acting Sultan Magdoub Salah Al-Din Mohammed Fadl Rajal, announced the appointment of several members to the council and the formation of a High Committee to manage the current crisis to support the Armed Forces in the Dignity War against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Acting Sultan Magdoub Salah Al-Din Mohammed Fadl Rajal affirmed the Fur Sultanate’s unwavering support for the Armed Forces in their battle against the RSF. He emphasized the importance of unity within the sultanate and across Sudan, condemning foreign intervention and calling for a denunciation of the RSF’s actions. He urged the youth to join the front lines to help defend the nation and praised the resilience of the people of Darfur, particularly in the city of El Fasher.
Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dimnagawi Sissi Fadl Sissi, condemned the blatant interference by several countries in supporting the RSF against the Sudanese citizens.
During a press conference held under the slogan "Towards Uniting the Internal Front and Supporting the Armed Forces to Defeat the Militias," he announced the council’s commitment to supporting the Armed Forces in the Dignity War to liberate the country from rebellion. He stressed that the people believe every part of Sudan is an unconquerable homeland.
He added that the Shura Council has been keen to form a body to manage the current crisis, ensuring the continuity of generations.
In a related context, the technical committee representative of the Fur Council, Mohamedine Mohamed Ishaq, said that the RSF’s attempted coup against the state’s regular forces aimed to plunder the country's wealth and create demographic changes by resettling Arabs from the diaspora in various regions, particularly in Darfur. During the press conference, Ishaq noted that the RSF is keen to utilize its political arm to implement the Al-Daqlo State’s plan, which seeks to exploit the country’s resources under the guise of combating the "remnants of the former regime" while promoting democracy.
Mohamedine revealed the formation of a body within the High Committee to manage the crisis in the Darfur Sultanate to support the Armed Forces. He also announced the creation of a Shura Council with local leaderships, taking into account the current situation, and supported by youth and women, aiming to address challenges and achieve unity within the Fur Sultanate.
