Members of the Emergency Health Committee visited health centers and hospitals in the Bahri locality, distributing medicines to operating centers, monitoring progress, and addressing shortages of medical equipment and supplies, while increasing the availability of medicines.

These centers have remained operational during the war, continuing to provide services despite the closure of major hospitals in Bahri. The committee is working to tackle health challenges in areas liberated from rebel control, focusing on providing specialized staff, and comprehensive medical equipment, and reopening Al-Shuhada Darushab Hospital.

The visit included Al-Kabirab Center and Al-Shuhada Hospital, which had been attacked by rebel militias, resulting in the killing of a doctor and assaults on others.

This initiative is part of the efforts by the Emergency Health Committee in Khartoum State to strengthen the healthcare system, ensuring the provision of various health services, environmental sanitation, medical supplies, equipment, and operational systems. The committee is also working on epidemic response teams and sustainable financial systems through an accurate information management system.
