Director of Islamic Endowments in North Kordofan Meets with Students of Al-Nour Institute

Mr. Salem Abdullah, Director of the Islamic Endowments Office in North Kordofan, welcomed the students and teachers of Al-Nour Secondary Institute for Religious Certification at his office in the Endowments Administration. The meeting was attended by the directors of the endowments departments from across the state.
In his address to the students of Al-Nour Institute, Mr. Salem affirmed the department's care and support for religious institutes in the state. He highlighted the department's endorsement of the programs and activities undertaken by these institutes in their pursuit of noble goals, aimed at serving the community. He also elaborated on the importance of endowments (waqf) in Islam and the conditions set by endowers. Mr. Salem praised the significant efforts made by the institute in spreading the culture of waqf despite the ongoing war in the country. He further commended the armed forces, security bodies, volunteers, and the popular resistance for their role in defending the nation's dignity and unity, acknowledging the significant victories achieved on all fronts.
Mr. Ismail Ahmed Adam, Director of Al-Nour Secondary Religious Certification Institute, provided an overview of the institute’s role in teaching and promoting Islamic values. He explained that the visit was intended to familiarize students with the importance of waqf and its practical application, as well as to introduce them to the workings of the endowments departments in the state. He praised the level of cooperation between the Islamic Endowments and religious institutes, aiming for a smart partnership that serves the interests of the community.
The directors of the endowments departments discussed waqf from administrative, financial, and missionary perspectives, affirming their full cooperation with Al-Nour Institute to ensure it delivers an educational and informative message to the community at the required level.
The students expressed their appreciation for the knowledge gained during the visit and promised to spread this knowledge within their communities to promote the culture of waqf.
Notably, the visit included over 40 students from the institute.
