Customs forces' achievements continue with the seizure of 43 kilograms of smuggled gold

The anti-smuggling unit of the customs forces in Nile River State successfully seized 43 kilograms of gold being smuggled out of the country, following a thorough investigation and a well-planned operation.


Major General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, the acting Director-General of Customs Forces, praised the significant efforts of the anti-smuggling forces, pointing out that this seizure is part of their monitoring roles in the Nile River State, which serves as a crossroads and border area.


Major General Yasser Siddiq, acting Assistant Director-General of Anti-Smuggling, reaffirmed their ongoing commitment to preventing the smuggling of the nation's wealth, emphasizing that such activities undermine the national economy. He commended the outstanding performance of the anti-smuggling forces during this period.


Colonel Adam Omar Sabeel, Director of the Anti-Smuggling Department in the Nile River State, explained that the seizure was made after gathering information and closely following up on it, leading to the foiling of the smuggling attempt. He stressed that his forces are fully prepared to block any future smuggling attempts.
